Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking. They set out the rights and obligations of both you and us, and they apply to every tour, transfer, ticket and package sold through our websites.
By completing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, together with the specific information published on the individual product page. Once we confirm your booking, a contract is formed between Good Trips (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “the Company”) and you (“you”, “the customer”).
Where these Terms and an individual product page differ, the product page applies. Individual tours may have their own minimum group size, age limits, cancellation deadlines or booking cut-off times, and these are always stated before you pay.
ON THIS PAGE
1. MAKING A BOOKING
- You can book through the booking form on any product page, or by contacting our team on WhatsApp, Line or email. Our staff are happy to answer questions before you commit.
- A booking is only confirmed once we have received payment in accordance with Section 2 and you have received a confirmation voucher from us. Submitting a booking form on its own does not create a confirmed booking.
- Most tours must be booked by the cut-off time shown on the product page — typically by 4:30 PM the day before departure for boat and island tours, because fresh food and boat capacity must be arranged in advance. Land tours and transfers may accept later bookings. The applicable cut-off is always shown on the product page.
- Some tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. Where a minimum applies, it is stated on the product page and confirmed to you before payment.
- Some products are shown as “Price on Request”. For these, we will send you a written quotation. The quoted price is valid for the period stated in the quotation and a booking is only formed once you accept the quotation and pay in accordance with Section 2.
- All bookings are subject to availability at the time we process them.
2. PRICES, PAYMENT & FEES
- All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (THB) unless clearly stated otherwise.
- Please read the product page carefully to see whether a price is per person (most join-in group tours) or per boat, vehicle or group (most private tours). Where a private price covers a base number of guests, any charge for additional guests is stated on the same page.
- Payment methods and fees:
- Bank transfer to our Thai bank account — no processing fee.
- Online payment gateway (credit and debit card) — a 6% processing fee applies and is shown before you confirm.
- Day tours, transfers and tickets: full payment is required to confirm your booking and to release your voucher.
- Multi-day packages including accommodation: a deposit may be accepted to secure your booking where this is offered on the product page. Where a deposit applies, the balance is due by the date stated in your confirmation. If the balance is not received by that date, we may treat the booking as cancelled by you and Section 6 will apply.
- Your card issuer or bank may apply its own currency conversion or international transaction charges. These are set by your bank, not by us, and we cannot refund them.
- Prices published on our websites may change at any time before a booking is confirmed. Once your booking is confirmed and paid, the price is fixed, except where a government fee, national park charge or tax is increased or newly introduced after confirmation. In that case we will notify you of the difference and you may pay it or cancel for a full refund.
- Best Price Guarantee. If, within 24 hours of booking with us, you find the identical tour — same operator, same date, same departure time, same inclusions and same group type — publicly advertised at a lower total price, send us the link on WhatsApp and we will refund the difference. This does not apply to member-only rates, flash sales, loyalty point redemptions, package bundles or prices that are not publicly verifiable.
3. YOUR VOUCHER
- Your confirmation voucher is issued by email, normally immediately after payment and in all cases within 2 hours. If it has not arrived, please check your spam folder and then contact us on WhatsApp or by email.
- You do not need to print your voucher. Showing it on your phone is sufficient.
- Please check your voucher as soon as you receive it. It confirms the tour, date, departure time, pick-up arrangement and the number of guests. Tell us immediately if anything is incorrect — we cannot accept responsibility for errors reported after departure.
- Your voucher contains the emergency contact number for the day of your tour. Please save it to your phone before you travel.
4. BOOKING ON BEHALF OF OTHER PEOPLE
- If you book for other travellers, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on their behalf and that you have obtained any consents required to share their personal details with us.
- You become the designated contact for the whole booking. This means you are responsible for paying the full amount due, for passing on information from us to your party, and for notifying us of any change or cancellation.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us about other travellers, including names, ages, weights where required for safety, and any medical or dietary needs.
5. CHANGES MADE BY YOU
- Changes to your booking — date, pick-up location, departure round or guest names — are free of charge when requested by 4:30 PM the day before your scheduled tour date, subject to availability.
- Please request changes on WhatsApp or by email, quoting your voucher number. An updated voucher will be sent to you once the change is confirmed. A change is not effective until you receive the updated voucher.
- Changes requested after that deadline are treated as a cancellation and rebooking, and Section 6 applies.
- If your new date falls in a higher-priced season or the new arrangement costs more, the difference is payable before the change is confirmed.
6. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
To cancel, contact us on WhatsApp or by email quoting your voucher number. A cancellation takes effect from the moment we receive your message, not from the moment you decide.
6.1 Day tours, transfers and activities
- 24 hours or more before departure: full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before departure: no refund.
- No-show: no refund. Please also read Section 8.
6.2 Multi-day packages including accommodation
- 7 days or more before the start date: full refund.
- 3 to 6 days before the start date: 50% refund.
- Less than 3 days before the start date, or no-show: no refund.
6.3 Show tickets, attraction tickets and dinner cruises
- Some tickets are issued for a fixed date and seat and cannot be refunded or exchanged once issued. Where a product is non-refundable, this is clearly marked on the product page before you pay.
- Where no such marking appears, the day tour policy in Section 6.1 applies.
6.4 Medical cancellations
- If you cannot travel because of sudden illness or injury and you notify us by 4:30 PM the day before departure, you may claim a 50% refund on presentation of a medical certificate confirming the condition and the date.
- The certificate must be sent to us within 7 days of the original tour date.
- This concession does not apply to no-shows or to notifications received after the deadline. In those cases we recommend you claim through your travel insurance, and we will provide any documentation your insurer requires.
6.5 How refunds are paid
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank transfer refunds are sent to the account you paid from.
- Where a payment gateway processing fee was charged, that fee is refunded in full when we cancel the tour, and is non-refundable when you cancel, because it is retained by the payment provider.
- We process refunds promptly. The time it then takes to reach your account depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
- We will not issue a refund to anyone we reasonably find to be attempting to obtain a refund dishonestly.
7. CHANGES OR CANCELLATION BY US
- Itineraries may be adjusted on the day because of weather, sea conditions, tide, traffic, national park closures or safety considerations. Where this happens, the operator will provide the closest reasonable alternative. Your safety always comes first, and adjustments of this kind do not entitle you to compensation.
- Boat and island tours are the most weather-dependent products we sell. Marine authorities may close a route or a pier at short notice, and no operator may sail against such an order.
- If we or the operator cancel your tour entirely, you may choose between a full refund or a transfer to another date or comparable tour, at no extra charge.
- If a join-in tour does not reach its minimum number of participants, we will tell you as early as possible and offer the same choice of a full refund or an alternative.
- Our responsibility in these situations is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not able to reimburse separate costs such as flights, hotel nights or onward transport arranged independently by you, which is why we strongly recommend travel insurance (Section 16).
8. PICK-UP, MEETING POINTS & NO-SHOW
- Your voucher states either a hotel pick-up window or a meeting point. Please be ready in the hotel lobby, or at the meeting point, at the time shown.
- Pick-up times are estimates and vary with hotel location, traffic and the punctuality of other guests on shared transfers. A pick-up window of 15 to 30 minutes is normal.
- Hotels outside the standard pick-up zone for a tour may incur an additional charge, or may not be serviceable at all. Please give us your exact hotel name and address when booking so we can confirm this in advance.
- If the vehicle does not arrive: you or the hotel reception must telephone the emergency number on your voucher within 15 minutes of the end of your pick-up window. This must be a phone call — email or social media messages are not sufficient for a time-critical issue. If we receive no call and the operator confirms attendance, no refund is payable.
- If you make your own way to the meeting point: a map or location pin is sent with your voucher together with the latest arrival time. Groups and boats cannot be held. If you arrive after the latest arrival time and the tour has departed, no refund is payable.
- Guests who do not appear for a confirmed departure are treated as no-shows and no refund is payable, whatever the reason. Claims of this nature should be directed to your travel insurer.
9. AIRPORT AND PRIVATE TRANSFER SERVICES
- Transfer prices are per vehicle and cover the number of passengers and items of luggage stated on the product page. Oversized items such as golf bags, surfboards or bicycles must be declared at the time of booking so we can allocate a suitable vehicle.
- Please provide your flight number, arrival or departure time and full hotel address when booking. We cannot guarantee a transfer booked without these details.
- Airport arrivals: our driver monitors your flight and waits up to 60 minutes after the actual landing time, free of charge. Waiting beyond that window is charged at the rate applicable to the vehicle and is payable directly to the driver.
- If your flight is diverted, cancelled or delayed to another day, contact us as soon as you are able. We will do our best to reschedule at no charge, subject to vehicle availability.
- If you do not meet the driver and do not contact the emergency number on your voucher before leaving the airport, the transfer is treated as a no-show and no refund is payable.
- Departure transfers: the pick-up time we recommend allows for normal traffic conditions. If you request a later pick-up than we recommend, you accept responsibility for the consequences of arriving late at the airport.
- Journey times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road closures, accidents, weather, ferry schedules or other events beyond our control.
10. CRUISE SHORE EXCURSIONS
This section applies to tours departing from a cruise port, including our Laem Chabang shore excursions.
- Shore excursions are planned to return you to the port with a comfortable margin before the published all-aboard time. Please give us your ship name, docking time and all-aboard time when booking so we can build the itinerary correctly.
- Our guides monitor the schedule throughout the day and will shorten or reorder stops if traffic or any other delay puts the return time at risk. Please follow the guide's instructions on timing without exception.
- If you separate from the group, extend a stop against the guide's advice, or return late to the vehicle, you accept full responsibility for the consequences, including the cost of rejoining your ship at a later port.
- Where a delay is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control — traffic accidents, road closures, weather events, protests or government action — our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the excursion.
- Independent shore excursions are not covered by your cruise line's return-to-ship guarantee. Travel insurance covering missed departure is strongly recommended.
- If your ship's schedule changes and it does not call at the port, contact us as soon as you know. We will refund the excursion in full.
11. SHOW TICKETS, ATTRACTION TICKETS AND DINNER CRUISES
- Tickets are issued for a specific date, performance time and seating category. Please arrive by the time shown on your voucher; latecomers may be refused admission by the venue, and no refund is payable in that case.
- Seating categories are allocated by the venue. Where a specific seat class is included, it is stated on the product page.
- Venues set their own rules on dress code, photography, outside food and drink, and behaviour. Admission is at the venue's discretion, and we cannot refund a ticket where entry is refused for breach of those rules.
- Performance schedules and content are set by the venue and may change without notice.
- Where a ticket includes a meal or buffet, the menu is set by the venue and may vary.
12. MULTI-DAY PACKAGES AND ACCOMMODATION
- Hotels named on a package page are indicative and are always described as subject to availability. If a named hotel is unavailable we will substitute accommodation of an equivalent or higher standard in a comparable location, and will tell you before departure.
- Package prices are normally based on two people sharing a twin or double room. A single supplement applies to solo travellers and is shown at the time of booking.
- Check-in and check-out times are set by each hotel. Early check-in and late check-out are not included and are subject to availability and any charge the hotel applies.
- Room incidentals — minibar, laundry, telephone, spa, room service and similar — are settled directly by you with the hotel.
- Hotels may require a credit card or cash deposit at check-in against incidentals. This is a hotel policy and is outside our control.
- If you leave a package early for any reason, no refund is payable for unused nights, meals or activities.
- The order of activities within a package may be reversed or adjusted to suit weather, opening hours, national park conditions or group logistics, without reducing the overall content of the package.
13. NATIONAL PARK, ISLAND AND ENTRANCE FEES
- National parks and many islands in Thailand are protected areas. Entrance fees are set and collected by the Thai government or by the local administration and are used for conservation and maintenance. Every visitor must pay them, without exception.
- Thai nationals and foreign visitors are charged different rates. This is set by the authority, not by us.
- Each product page states clearly whether these fees are included in the price or payable separately in cash on the day. Please read this before booking and carry sufficient Thai Baht in cash.
- Where fees are payable separately, refusal to pay them at the checkpoint will prevent you from joining that part of the tour. No refund is payable, and the cost of returning to your hotel is yours.
- National parks may close areas at short notice for conservation, seasonal closure or safety reasons. Where this happens, Section 7 applies.
14. HEALTH, SAFETY AND PARTICIPATION
- You must tell us at the time of booking about any medical condition, mobility limitation, allergy, pregnancy or medication requirement that could affect your participation or the assistance you may need. This helps us confirm that a tour is suitable and, where necessary, arrange support in advance.
- Some activities carry restrictions on age, pregnancy, health or physical condition. These are set by the operator or by Thai safety regulations and vary from product to product. Any restriction that applies is stated on the product page. If you are unsure whether an activity suits you, please ask us before booking.
- Where an operator refuses participation on safety grounds — for example pregnancy on a speedboat, or a condition not declared at the time of booking — no refund is payable.
- Water activities. Life jackets are provided and must be worn when instructed. Snorkelling and swimming take place in open water. Please enter the water only in the areas indicated by the crew, and tell the crew if you are not a confident swimmer.
- Adventure activities such as ATV riding, kayaking, trekking and similar require you to follow the operator's safety briefing and to wear the protective equipment provided. Where a driving licence or minimum age applies, it is stated on the product page and will be checked on the day. Participation while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is not permitted, and no refund is payable if participation is refused on this basis.
- Children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times, on land, on board and in the water.
- Guides, captains and drivers have final authority on all safety matters. Their instructions must be followed.
15. FOOD AND DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
- Where a tour includes meals, the menu is described on the product page. Menus may vary with seasonal and local availability, particularly for fresh seafood.
- Vegetarian meals are available on most tours, and halal meals are available on some. Please tell us at the time of booking — requests made on the day of the tour usually cannot be accommodated.
- If you have a food allergy, please tell us the specific allergen at the time of booking. Meals are prepared in shared kitchens and on boats where cross-contamination cannot be entirely ruled out, so we cannot guarantee an allergen-free meal. Guests with severe allergies should carry their own medication.
16. INSURANCE
- The tour operators and transport providers we work with carry passenger liability insurance as required by Thai law. This cover is limited in scope and value and does not replace personal travel insurance.
- We strongly recommend that you arrange comprehensive travel insurance before you travel, covering at least cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and repatriation, personal accident, missed departure, and personal belongings. If your itinerary includes adventure or water activities, check that your policy covers them.
- We do not accept responsibility for the theft, loss of or damage to personal belongings at any time during a tour. Please do not bring valuables on boat tours, and use hotel safes where available.
- Optional activities that you arrange and pay for directly with a third party on the day — parasailing, jet ski, banana boat, diving and similar — are not part of your contract with us and are not covered by our arrangements.
17. OUR ROLE AND OPERATOR SUBSTITUTION
- Good Trips (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is a licensed Thai travel agency. For each product we appoint a tour operator, and the itinerary published on our website is based on that operator's programme.
- If our preferred operator is fully booked or unable to operate, we reserve the right to book you with an alternative operator running a similar programme. Where the alternative differs in any material way, we will tell you before departure and you may accept the alternative or cancel for a full refund.
- We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent third parties whose services you arrange yourself, including airlines, cruise lines, hotels booked directly by you, and activity providers you engage on the day.
18. LIABILITY
- We take our duty of care seriously and select operators on their safety record as well as their programme.
- Except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total liability arising from any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.
- We are not liable for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather and sea conditions, natural events, epidemics, government or port authority action, strikes, civil unrest, road closures and transport failures.
- We are not liable for consequential losses such as missed flights, missed cruise departures, forfeited hotel nights or loss of enjoyment, except where these arise directly from our own negligence.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.
19. CONDUCT AND MEDIA
- We reserve the right to end a tour for any guest whose behaviour endangers or seriously inconveniences other guests, staff or themselves, or damages property. In such cases no refund is payable and onward transport is at the guest's own cost.
- Where a guest's behaviour causes damage or loss to a supplier, that guest is responsible for indemnifying Good Trips (Thailand) Co., Ltd. against any resulting claim, including reasonable legal costs.
- Guides and crew often take photographs during tours and may share them on our social media channels and websites. If you would prefer not to appear, simply tell your guide on the day and we will respect that without question.
20. COMPLAINTS, PERSONAL DATA AND GOVERNING LAW
20.1 Complaints
- If something is wrong during your tour, please tell your guide, driver or the operator immediately. Most issues can be resolved on the spot, and problems raised only after the tour are much harder to put right.
- If the matter is not resolved, please write to us on WhatsApp or by email within 30 days of the tour date, quoting your voucher number and including any photographs or documents that support your account.
- We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 3 working days and to give a full response within 14 days.
20.2 Personal data
- We collect only the information needed to arrange and deliver your booking — name, contact details, hotel, flight or ship details, and any medical or dietary information you choose to give us.
- We share this information with the tour operators, hotels and transport providers who deliver your booking, and with our payment provider. We do not sell your personal data.
- You may ask us to provide a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it once your booking is complete, by writing to thailandtouragency@gmail.com.
20.3 Governing law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
- We will always try to resolve a dispute by discussion first. If that is not possible, any dispute will be settled in Thailand.
- If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the date of your booking is the version that applies to that booking. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page.
